Color & Movement
The Color tab provides an HSV color picker for controlling RGB fixtures, a brightness control, and a Pan/Tilt joystick for moving fixtures. Select which fixtures to control, choose a color, and the values are applied to the correct channels.
Overview
The Color tab operates on top of the standard DMX output. When you select fixtures and set a color, the values are applied through a separate programmer layer — they don't permanently replace the Mixer or scene values.
Color control requires the target fixture to have RGB (or RGBW) channels defined in its mode. Pan/Tilt control requires PAN and/or TILT channels.
HSV Color Model
The color picker uses the HSV model — Hue, Saturation, and Value (Brightness):
Hue
0°–360°
The color itself — red (0°), yellow (60°), green (120°), cyan (180°), blue (240°), magenta (300°), back to red (360°).
Saturation
0–100%
Color purity. 100% = fully saturated color. 0% = white (no color).
Value / Brightness
0–100%
Overall brightness. 100% = maximum intensity. 0% = black (off).
HSV is converted to RGB values before being sent to DMX channels. The conversion handles the color space translation automatically.
Fixture Selection
Select one or more fixtures in the Color tab before applying color. The color values are sent to the RGB channels of the selected fixtures only.
Fixtures not selected retain their current channel values. You can change the selection at any time to target different fixtures.
RGB Output
The HSV color is converted to RGB, then the resulting values are mapped to the selected fixture's RED, GREEN, and BLUE channels. If the fixture also has WHITE or AMBER channels, the app may calculate values for those as well depending on the fixture mode configuration.
Example: cyan (180°, 100%, 100%)
Programmer Layer
Color values set through the Color tab exist in a separate programmer layer on top of the base Mixer and scene output. The programmer layer contains values that override channels while active.
This means color changes made in the Color tab do not permanently modify your Mixer faders or saved scenes unless you explicitly save the state.
Pan/Tilt Control
Moving fixtures with PAN and/or TILT channels can be controlled from the Color tab using a live joystick. Dragging the joystick updates the Pan and Tilt channel values in real time.
If the fixture's mode includes PAN_FINE and TILT_FINE channels, the joystick provides fine-grain positioning using the combined 16-bit coarse+fine value.

| RGBW color | RED, GREEN, BLUE, WHITE |
| Brightness control | DIMMER |
| Pan/Tilt joystick | PAN and/or TILT |
