Mixer
The Mixer tab gives direct access to all 512 DMX channels. On a phone in portrait mode, faders are shown in pages of 12; on tablets and in landscape the count adjusts automatically to fit the screen. A global master dimmer and blackout control are always available.
Channel Faders
Each fader represents one DMX channel (1–512) with a value from 0 to 255. On a phone in portrait mode, 12 channels are shown per page. On tablets (any orientation) and in landscape mode, the page size is calculated automatically based on screen width. Swipe or tap the page controls to navigate between pages.
Global Master Dimmer
The master dimmer scales all channel output proportionally. Setting it to 50% halves the output of every channel. This allows a quick global intensity adjustment without changing individual fader levels.
Blackout
Blackout instantly sets all DMX output to 0 while preserving fader positions. Disabling blackout restores the previous output. Use for quick emergency off or between scenes.
Art-Net Output
DMX Node sends Art-Net output in real time. Two optimizations reduce unnecessary network traffic:
- Dirty-output: packets are only sent when at least one channel value has changed
- Periodic resend: the full universe is retransmitted at a configurable interval to handle node reconnections
